Lumbar spine treatment breakthrough: Meditrac created the patented Vertetrac device for non-surgical treatment of the lumbar spine. Vertetrac is based on an innovative concept that combines conservative traction with a horizontal force. This unique combination enables simultaneous 3D traction treatment and asymmetrical features. Vertetrac was later upgraded by the DBS rail feature for treating scoliosis.

Cervical treatment followed suit: by the end of 1999, the company launched the Cervico2000™ - a neck pain remedy based on the same concept.
